Reverse Flow

28/4/2013

Below is a link to the video of Will doing reverse flow. Spot the tell tails flowing the wrong way - towards the mast in the second part of the video. Also notice his position in the boat and the way he is holding the tiller extension. This is quite hard to master so start in light airs and build up to doing it in more breeze. It is worth the effort as it is super quick. Some extra tell tails in the middle of the sail can help you see the flow reverse more easily. As you can see Will has one at half height and Best of luck. Mike

We are very pleased that Mike Taylor and Hobie Wright from Alton Water and Craig Bond from Brightlingsea are keen to help the Eastern Tera sailors develop and grow with this rapidly growing and very popular national class. The boat is a natural feeder class for the Laser and the Feva and the development of sailing in the UK is heavily dependent on youngsters enjoying their boat and their racing.
